Events  

Sängerfest2012 will take place during the Canada Day long weekend at Centre in the Square in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Here is the current schedule (subject to change):

PUBLIC EVENTS

• CHORAL COMPETITION | Fri Jun 29, 2012 at 1:15 pm: 15 choirs from across Canada and the USA will compete for honours in various categories of artistic, folk and yodel music. Tickets: $17.50 at Centre in the Square (519) 578-1570.


• GRAND CONCERT | Sat Jun 30, 2012 at 7:30 pm: An astounding 300 singers from the 15 member choirs will combine their voices for this gala event. The Jodlerclub Alpenrösli from Einsiedeln, Switzerland will also perform! As the climax of Sängerfest 2012, this is an event not to be missed! Tickets: $27.50 (Children $17.50) at Centre in the Square (519) 578-1570.

• 10:00 - 12:00 - NASSA Delegates Meeting
• Discover famous St. Jacobs and/or its Farmer Market
• Lunch
• 1:00 pm - Mass Choir Rehearsal
• Light snack before Concert
• Grand Concert at Centre In The Square
• 9:30 pm - Late Dinner and Afterglow Party

SUNDAY JULY 1  

• 9:00 - Ecumenical Service
• 10:30 - Brunch followed by Closing Ceremonies
